Goldwasser is produced with gold and over twenty distinct herbs and spices, which include cardamum, coriander, lime, juniper, lavander, cinnamon, celery, and nutmeg. The original recipe has been maintained in strict secrecy from generation to generation. Today Carl Graf von Hardenburg, the owner of the liquor company Hardenberg-Wilthen AG, is the only person in the world that knows the secret of Goldwasser.
