The Glenfarclas 25 Years Old is an impressive long-aged Highland single malt Scotch whisky that represents the heart of the prestigious Glenfarclas Distillery.
Glenfarclas is a family-run distillery located in Ballindalloch, in the very heart of the Scottish Highlands, and is one of Scotland’s most traditional and independent whisky producers.
Glenfarclas has been run by the Grant family since 1865 and is now in its sixth generation.
The Glenfarclas 25 Years Old is aged for 25 years and stands out for its extraordinary complexity, depth and elegance, qualities derived from its long maturation in carefully selected Oloroso sherry casks.
With an alcohol content of 43% vol., Glenfarclas 25 offers a velvety, well-balanced mouthfeel, with a broad aromatic profile combining fruity notes, dried fruits and subtle spicy nuances.
The extended cask ageing gives the whisky remarkable maturity without sacrificing freshness, making it a clear example of classic Highland single malts matured in sherry casks.
