Drambuie, which in Gaelic signifies "The Drink that Satisfies", is an exquisite Whisky liqueur specially produced for the Prince Carlos Eduardo of Scotland and born from a rich combination of fine aged Scottish whiskies, quality honey and secret ingredients from the formula created in 1746.
The Drambuie formula passed from generation to generation, and throughout the years it has been converted into the favourite liqueur of refined palates.
Nosing: In the nose strong herbs, reminiscent of cough syrup, light smoky notes, scents of citrus fruit in combination with freshly cut grass.Tasting: Versatile taste composition. Fruit surrounded by honey and herbs, very creamy and sweet, slightly peppery and a slight spiciness in the finish.Finish: The malt whisky is clearly noticeable in the finish. Herbs form a beautiful contrast to the sweetness.Balance: Sweet and spicy herbs are in balance, perfectly balanced.
