The DonQ brand, launched in 1932, is the most popular within Puerto Rico where the local population takes great pride in the heritage of this legacy family of fine spirits.
The Serrallés family has been creating rums in Puerto Rico since 1865 when they erected a French still at their Hacienda Merceditas. The distillery is located near the south shore of Puerto Rico in the municipality of Ponce, known as the Pearl of the South.
