The term "claymore" is from the Scottis Gaelic for "great sword", and it's an ancient style of Scottish sword used by the Highlanders. This wonderful blended whisky was created in its honour.
The Claymore blended Scotch Whisky is aged between four and five years in strictly selected barrels. This maturation imparts its special character and created the beautiful mahogany colour of this Scotch.
