In the 19th century the Alicante province was famous for the production of delicious liqueurs, thanks to the rich variety of aromatic plants.
Since its founding in 1945, SYS has combined Tradition, Research and Technology into its distillation processes. It is considered the most traditional liqueur in Alicante because it continues producing the same flavours and aromas that were found in ancient times.
The lavender flower found in the liqueur is certified organic and is harvested from the Sierra de Mariola. It is distilled in copper stills and the liqueur is aged in oak barrels.
