Dark Storm Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in heavily-charred oak casks for an intensely smoky flavour, designed to capture the wild, untamed spirit of a full-blown storm at sea.
Created by the distillery's master blenders from a selection of rejuvenated barrels filled with different vintages.
Master Blender Dr. Jim Beveridge had the idea to create a whisky that would reflect the character of the distillery.
"We looked for some reserve Talisker, enriched and softened over time with care in rejuvenated barrels, and blended them with some very fresh ones from the unripened distillery," he said. "The result is a drink that brings together the unique character of the distillery achieved over time"

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Amber gold.
Nose: A salty, smoky edge combines with hints of aromatic spices and oak, developing into stewed apples.
Body: Full.
Palate: Exceedingly smooth and sweet with an intense vibrant combination of fresh fruits, blackcurrants and liquorice, slowly disappearing into a tempest of rich spice.
Finish: Warm, lingering and powerfully smoky.
