Bodegas Riojanas, founded in 1890, combines a century of wine culture in Cenicero (La Rioja).
All its nooks and crannies are filled with history and passion for wine making and ageing. The care and concem taken in the wine elaboration it's fruit of the Bodega Riojana's present team's profound respect for the tradition and personality inherited from a century of quality commitment.
VINIFICATION
Classical vinification with destemmed, crushed grapes, employing new fermentation control technologies and long maceration periods.
AGEING
Aged for 24 to 30 months in American oak barrels, with appropriate rackings. Aged in the bottle for at least 24 months before being put on the market.
A wine that is representative of the finest vineyards in Cenicero. Intense cherry-red with brick hues. Powerful vinous aromas in harmony with fine wood notes. Sensual structure in the mouth; tasty and full-bodied. Abundant tannins that are well-polished and sweet. A sensation of opulence leads into a magnificent finish of great persistence in the mouth. Mature and well-developed — ready to drink.
