Ageing in French oak barrel for 12 months
The main objective of Bodegas Palacio throughout its history has been and still is to achieve the highest quality in wine production. It has the right grapes, from the heart of Rioja Alavesa, practically one hundred percent Tempranillo, the finest variety.
Palacio's wines are aged and matured in six thousand French oak barrels and three hundred American oak barrels that have been completely renovated. With the best wood selected in France and North America.
Bodegas Palacio has been advised since 1987 by Michel Rolland, considered worldwide the star of French oenology. Bodegas Palacio has turned the classic Rioja Glorioso into a powerful, full-bodied wine with aromas of cherries and vanilla, good structure and fruit, with good tannin.

Elaboration, Vatting of de-stemmed grapes. Fermentation at controlled temperature (28ºC). Long maceration during 28 days approx.
Ageing In Bordeaux barrels in its second year, made of 225 l. split French oak.
