Faustino I Gran Reserva, lives 26 months in barrels, 80% in new American oak barrels from West Virginia and 20% in French oak barrels from Los Vosgos
The Faustino was born in the 1960s, and the first bottle of Faustino I Gran Reserva Harvest 1964, went on the market in 1968.

Why Faustino? A tribute from the third generation, to its founding father, whose name was Faustino, and became the face of Faustino wine, bringing about a revolution in the world of wine, and today, almost 60 years later, it continues to be one of the most famous names in the world of wines, and a true icon.
A winemaker born in a small Rioja village, linked to the world of wine for two generations and with a career of more than 35 years in the winery; he has made Faustino I our best ambassador all over the world with time, wood, care and wisdom, keeping on and improving the legacy of his predecessor.
