Casamigos was born out of tequila-filled nights with friends. Their idea was to make the best tasting, smoothest tequilas and mezcals that didn't need salt or lime to mask the taste.
And that's what they did.
Casamigos was created just for them. They worked on creating Casamigos with their master distiller in Jalisco, Mexico, for years and went through many blind tastings until they knew they had achieved it.
We've been enjoying their tequila and mezcal with friends and family for several years now. It was never their intention to launch it to the public. It's all they serve in their homes in Mexico; therefore, it is quite literally the house tequila.
