More information Dewars White Label 20 CL Flasks
John Dewar was the son of a farmer with big ideas. Instead of living his life on the farm where he grew up, he went to work in his uncle's wine and spirits business in the city. While there, he dreamed of creating a Scotch Whisky that would harmonize the palate in a way that no other whisky could.
In just a few years, he saw that vision come to fruition – he founded the distillery that allowed him to produce the heart of the world's finest blended Scotch.
The real growth of the DEWAR'S brand began in 1880 when John's sons John and Thomas went into business with their father and DEWAR'S was renamed John Dewar & Sons. Together, the brothers produced a team that took off into the international market.
Creating a perfectly balanced blend that "never changes" was the goal of Dewars' expert taster, the first Master Blender Alexander J. Cameron. As a result of decades of experimentation and practice in the art of blending the finest sigle malt and grain Scotch whiskies, Cameron created a whisky that became the number one whisky in the United States: Dewar's White Label.
Today, there is no recipe for the creation of the whisky, it is a secret that has been passed down orally between the 5 Master Blenders that the brand has had to this day.
White Label is mellow and spicy, light and smoky, the result of blending 40 of Scotland's finest malt and grain whiskies in a tradition that goes back 150 years.
