Tasting Notes
Region: A lively character from the only distillery on Skye.
Appearance: Bright 18ct gold with polished copper highlights.
Nose: The initial glorious citrus sweetness of fresh oranges develops into soft mango. The maritime air with seaweed, driftwood, and salt continue down.
Body: Medium bodied and smooth textured.
Palate: Smooth and sweet at first, coating and tingling on the tongue, with light smoke. Quickly becomes spicier and saltier, with a hot bite.
Finish: Dry and medium length, with a long lasting, smooth aftertaste, in which light embers of burnt peat can be found.
