Year 1972 Bodegas LAN is founded and named after the initials of the 3 provinces in the Rioja Designation of Origin: Logroño (now La Rioja), Álava and Navarra.
It is located in the heart of Rioja Alta, which is synonymous with tradition and prestige.
The Bodegas LAN ageing room extends over an area of 6,400 square metres. This is a unique setting with a pioneering and completely automated stacking, racking and climate control system. It currently houses a total of 25,000 casks of different types of oak: French, American, Russian and mixed (American oak staves and French oak heads) oak; all carefully selected from the world’s best coopers.

Tasting Notes
Bright cherry red with a garnet rim. An elegant nose with predominant notes of red and stone fruits: strawberry, raspberry and peach. Patisserie and cream enveloped in elegant notes of vanilla and caramel and a subtle hint of cinnamon. It is flavourful and expressive on the palate. It is immediately inviting, enveloping the palate and leaving a long and pleasant aftertaste.
