More information Vivanza Elite 2017 Wine
Bodegas Vivanza has managed to rescue for today that "know-how" of yesteryear and in the same "terroirs" of privileged location.
The Vivanza plant's vineyards are distributed on land of approximately 220 hectares. The land is located in the interior of the province of Alicante, Pinoso, at an altitude of about 500 metres above sea level. The vineyards are on the south-eastern slopes of the Sierra del Carche.
This area of the site provides several types of soils at our disposal. Depending on the characteristics of each site, different varieties are planted which are most suitable for growing fruit and obtaining unique wines.
The climate is characterized by very hot and not very rainy summers and cold winters. In summer, especially, there are high temperature jumps, around 20℃ of difference between day and night, which favors the pigmentation and dryness of the wine.
The Harvest takes place between August 20th and mid October. All the vineyards are conditioned with local irrigation, each vine is watered.
Vivanza Elite
Made from carefully selected grapes from our La Alberquilla area of old vineyards.
It is made by hand, selecting the best clusters, to count for its elaboration with grapes of the highest quality. The time of harvesting depends on the ripeness reached by the grapes, a process that is followed very carefully to reach the optimum point, where the maximum aromatic expression is achieved. A pre-fermentation maceration is carried out at 10℃ to obtain a greater aromatic complexity. The duration of fermentation and maceration is between 15 and 20 days at a temperature not exceeding 25℃, to improve the varietal characteristics of each wine. This wine continues to age in barrels for 20 months in a temperature-controlled cellar. The blending of the three types of wine is carried out in the correct proportions before bottling. Bottle ageing requires a minimum of 5 months for blended wines before they are marketed.
* Matches all types of grilled meat, rice, cured cheeses, spicy foods and even Asian food.
