More information Viking Mead Wikinger Met Original 50 CL + 2 Glasses Liquor
Original Wikinger Met is the real mead from the land of the Vikings.
The origin
Haithabu (Old Norse Heiðabýr, from heiðr 'heath' and býr 'courtyard'; Danish/Swedish Hedeby, Latin Heidiba; also Haiðaby, Haidaby) was founded around 770 and became an important Viking settlement. The place is regarded as an early medieval town in Northern Europe and was an influential trading place and the main centre for long-distance trade between Scandinavia, Western Europe, the North Sea region and the Baltic States.
Today, after more than nine centuries, Haithabu, together with the Dannewerk, is the most relevant archaeological monument in Schleswig-Holstein and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2018 as the archaeological border complex Haithabu and Dannewerk.
Just a short distance from this historic site in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, located at the end of the Schlei Fjord on the Baltic Sea, is the origin of the Original Viking Mead.
