Turrón a la Piedra is made by hand, selecting the best almonds from the Mediterranean basin, and then adding lemon zest and cinnamon, which makes it different and special.
Since 1854 working with the best raw materials for the result is of the highest quality and was continued with success by the couple formed by Wenceslao Monerris Rovira and Isabel Picó Espí. Directed since 1940 by Pascual Sanchis Coloma it adopted the name of Wenceslao Monerris' Widow.
Since 1988 the company is known for its old brands San Jorge and La Colmena. Turrones La Colmena is a company dedicated to the commercialization of typical Christmas products: turrones, marzipan, polvorones, etc. It is a family business in which its maximum commitment is to offer a range of high quality products, selecting the raw materials and taking care of the preparation so that the final product deserves the approval of the consumer.
Jijona & Nougat

This basic range is accompanied by a wide variety of different products capable of satisfying the most demanding consumer.
The Regulatory Council of Jijona and Turrón de Alicante, under the protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Generalitat Valenciana, ensures the purity and quality of the products manufactured in the municipality of Jijona and protected by the distinctive seal of the entity.
