The Tormore Distillery lies in the shadow of the high Cromdale Hills in the scenic Spey Valley. In The Gaelic tongue, TORMORE means "Great Hill"
Soft, clear waters from the Cromdale Hills flow gently into the Achvochkie Burn beside THE TORMORE Distillery and eventually join the famous River Spey on its way to the sea.
The ice cool water of the burn is captured and used exclusively for distilling THE TORMORE.
Specially selected rich barley, pure soft water and the expertise of craftsmen combine to produce an exceptionally smooth single malt whisky.
Ten long years in natural oak cask amid the gentle Speyside air matures THE TORMORE into a mellow and highly distinctive pure malt whisky.
