More information Tarsus Roble 2022 Wine
Bodegas Tarsus produces Tarsus Reserva seeking to create a wine with its own personality.
Next to a small pine forest in Anguix, Burgos, we reveal to the world the light and the balance of this clearly French-influenced estate in Ribera del Duero. The winery was founded in 1998 in the style of a French ‘château’ at the heart of the renowned Ribera del Duero wine region.
Tarsus produces wines from estate-owned and a selection of controlled terroirs seeking to extract the best of the native varieties and achieve excellence.
Harvesting and winemaking processes are carried out individually by plot, under the guidance of the winemaker, Teresa Rodriguez, author of the wines in charge of achieving deeply aromatic wines, with a high concentration and great ageing potential.
Tarsus is named after the city in the region of Cilicia, Asia Minor, considered the cradle of wine civilization.

Tasting Notes | It is visually attractive, with good intensity; lively with a purple rim. To the nose, we find red and dark fruit, beautifully combined with fine, elegant wood. There are also marked notes of liquorice, typical of the grape variety, ending with some flavoursome hints. The mouth is tasty and big, with fine, clean wood although, just like the nose, fruit is also very much there, providing a long finish. |
