More information Tarima Hill Blanco Fermentado 2022 Wine

The passion flower is our symbol. A symbol that evokes the mosaic of aromas and flavours contained in our wine.

Founded in 2004 by Jorge Ordoñez and Rafael Cañizares, two of the people responsible for the international boom in Spanish wine in the 1990s.

When the whole world associated Spanish wines with a small list of Riojas of dubious quality and cheap sherries, these two visionaries were recovering old abandoned vineyards in then unknown areas, such as the Jumilla DO. At the same time, Jorge Ordóñez was reinventing the business of exporting Spanish wines, creating new types of customers and making the potential of our wines known to the whole world.

The differential stamp of the winery is the handcrafted elaboration from native Spanish varieties from very old vineyards, less productive, but providing more quality in all senses.

Currently, Bodegas Volver produces wines under the protection of the DO Jumilla, Castilla la Mancha and Alicante.

The winery is located southwest of the city of Salinas and northeast of Pinoso.

Tarima Hill Blanco Fermentado

Characterised by the drought of another year, although the summer was milder than normal and the Spring rains resulted in a longer ripening that produced grapes of the highest quality. Harvest at the end of August.

Vineyard: The vineyards of the variety Chardonnay are located in Pinoso at an altitude of 600 to 750 m above sea level

Production:  Fermentation in French oak barrels followed by aging with batonage for 6 months.

Analysis:  Brilliant golden colour. In the nose we find notes of ripe fruit, pineapple, mango, peach and honey as well as hints of vanilla and spices as it passes through the barrel. In the mouth it is tasty, balanced with good acidity. Intense finish.
