More information Talisker 10 Year Reserve (Skye) Whisky
A sharp, smoky smell introduces us to the depths of Talisker, with its sweet taste and rich in malted barley.
From the western shores of the Isle of Skye at the foot of the high Cuillin hills comes a single malt like no other. Talisker (which means "The Leaning Rock") is the only malt whisky made on the Isle of Skye. Distilled there by Loch Harpor since Hugh and Kenneth MacAskill founded the distillery in 1830, its character is as perpetual as the Cuillin Hills, as its jagged peaks dominate the view from a distance.

Talisker Distillery
A keen, smoky nose introduces us to the depths of Talisker, sweet in taste and rich in malted barley. At first it tempts with its softness and golden colour and soon grows in intensity. A robust malt to enjoy from the beginning to the end.
The distillery survived a disastrous fire in 1960 and was rebuilt with exact copies of the old stills, preserving a unique distillation method. Today the product of all this care awakens and keeps devotees all over the world. Talisker is for many "The Complete", the best malt.
