More information Sauza Gold 1 liter Tequila
Named after Don Cenobio Sauza, Sauza Tequila has a long history of over 230 years. Don Cenobio Sauza established Sauza Distillery in a place called Tequila in Mexico. At that place, the art of producing tequila has been perfected and fine-tuned over time. Don Sauza was the foremost to call this golden beverage “Tequila” and also was the first exporter of the drink to the United States. Sauza is now one of the fastest growing brands in its field.

Tequila is the national spirit of Mexico. It is an alcoholic product derived from the fermenting of sugar. But, its sugar is derived from the Blue Agave plant. Unlike other spirit producing plants, the Blue Agave takes much longer (7 to 12 years) to mature.
The process of making tequila is fascinating. First, a skilled jimador decides whether or not the blue agave is ready for harvest or not. The main ingredient from the plant resides at its heart and is known as pina. A ripe pina can weigh up to 150 pounds. These harvested pina are then shredded and cooked in an autoclave. This cooked agave is then milled and water is mixed with it. The mixture is then left in tanks made of wood or stainless steel. The fermented mixture is then distilled to give a liquid free from unwanted compounds. The final product is then stored in wooden vats and left to age. Finally, a blender blends these aged Sauza tequilas to make tequila of the same flavor as it has been for ages.
Sauza Extra Gold – its warm golden in color and smells like caramel vanilla with light agave, soft oakiness and pepper notes.
