More information Royalty, 1 Litre (Netherlands) Vodka

In 1888, Hero Jan Hooghoudt started his own distillery in Groningen. Today his direct descendent Mr. Bert Hooghoudt personally supervises the business with the same tenacity and with the same goals of quality as his ancestor. Respect for tradition is only one aspect of the Hooghoudt family; the other two aspects are quality and innovation in its products and production.

Hooghoudt develops a variety of alcoholic beverages for both its national and international market, the most popular drinks being Vodka, Gin, Rum and Liqueurs.

Hooghoudt is present in 28 countries, but its principal markets are Spain, Portugal and South America.

In 1993 Hooghoudt launched its Vodka Premium Royalty in a royal blue bottle, being that royal blue is the colour of royalty in the Netherlands.

Royalty is unique thanks to its rectification process in four columns and a special technique used during its distillation. After its distillation Royalty is filtered five times with charcoal. The result is an extremely smooth vodka with a pure flavour.
