More information Ron Vacilon Gran Reserva Añejo 15 Years (Cuba) Rum
Vacilón was a very popular brand in Cuba in the 1950s.
In 1956 the Heriberto Duquesne Distillery was founded in the centre of the Cuban island state. The tradition and passion for one of Cuba's export successes continues to this day, developing an ever-increasing quality. The rum has been produced here for decades and is stored under the watchful eye of master rum-maker Rodriguez. The distillery is located not far from the town of Remedios and offers ideal climatic conditions for the rum. Here the rum is made by hand.
In 2015 master rum maker Lino Luis Rodríguez revived the brand as a tribute to the history of Cuba. Made with the best raw material provided by the island, it is aged in American white oak barrels until the master considers that it has reached the optimum ageing point. The product has its natural colour from its 15 years of quiet ageing.
Destilería Heriberto Duquesne also produces other brands such as Vigía and Ron Mulata.
