The label is a project that is unparalleled in Italy. Conceived in 2002, it was founded with the aim of providing the Horeca segment with an exclusive selection of the best Italian wines. In the scenario of a market as fragmented as the wine one, the new line of products is positioned as medium-high level.

A unique brand that brings together the best of selected varieties from Italian regions, treated by a team from one of the most renowned wine makers, who listened to the needs of restaurateurs to offer solutions adapted to the local and national consumer trends of the moment.

Above all, the traceability of the brand has not been lost, as a guarantee of the high quality wine it offers, while preserving regional character. The restaurateur can therefore offer a higher quality product, can improve its list of designations of origin to meet customer demands.

In addition to the important work on the product, Romio also has a graphic redesign, characterized by a strong aesthetic that has great importance in the project. This leads ROMIO to be, distinctive, sophisticated and a symbol of reliability.

ROMIO SHIRAZ NERO D'AVOLA IGT

Nero d'Avola, also known as Calabrese and Calabrese d'Avola is the most popular red wine in production in Sicily, especially those produced in Noto and Pachino.

The wines produced with Nero d'Avola grapes are exported around the world. With good acidity that gives them the possibility of a long aging, if they are well cared for and if they come from some regions, especially the old ones, better still if they come from grapes grown by the traditional system known as "alberello" brought to Sicily by the Greeks between the 8th and 7th centuries BC. Despite its name, which suggests the origin of Calabria, 'Calabrese' is present almost exclusively in Sicily, as it derives from the original Calabrese Casa Modica - Avola area.

The wines are generally of strong character, sometimes a little rough and sometimes very elegant. With various notes in the nose: spices, violets and some other red fruits, more or less ripe, and some ethereal aromas, characteristic of the alcohol.

Due to its adaptability it is also grown in areas that are not really prepared. Nero d'Avola is on the market monovariety or in copuage with other grapes. The first of these blends is Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG (alcoholic strength 13%) from Nero d'Avola and Frappato, which is produced on the southern coast of Sicily, between Ragusa and Gela. Nowadays, it is sometimes used for blending wines such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and especially with Syrah which is giving excellent results. As it is the case of this Romio wine.

The supply of the product can be delayed for a few days.
