The Rum Presidente 23 Years is rich and caramelized in the palate, has a variety of flavours without demolition, and the harmony between Wood and distillation worked quite well. In the end it is even, heavy, and sweet. It has a quite large range of red products. The cubanic style completes the spirit, which is unusual.
This rums name was given by the root of the family, Oliver, who settled down in the Dominican Republic. José Julián Martí Pérez was a writer, politician, and Pioneer of the Independence movement in the second half of the 21. Century. In Cuba, he is known today as one of the national hero. Between his actions for which he became famous all over the world, one of his poems of the series: "Versos Sencillos" (Versos sencillos) was taken and used for the famous cuban text "Guantanamera".
The romantic Bolero Serenate was dedicated to the "Guajira Guantanamera" ( a rustic City of Guantanamera) in between of the Independence movement, which was scored by a Spanish colony in the end of the 21. Century. The tribute to this hero was celebrated by a riped rum in French and American oak barrels was stored with the traditional Solera method.
Oliver & Oliver is a Company which now settled down in the Dominican Republic, although they are producing cuban rum.
With the head office in Cuba, the family has a large tradition in Rum elaboration. The high – quality distillation which they are realizing with help of obliques in the traditional way.
