The Ron Millonario 10 Aniversario Reserva Rum is matured in Jerez oak barrels and in American Bourbon barrels. From these, he gets the great fruit-sweet-oak flavour, which is tasted from nose to mouth to finish.
Peru is hardly known as a hotbed of rum-making, but if word about Ron Millonario ever gets out, the stellar lush and candied rums like Zacapa and Diplomático will have some serious competition.
The Ron Millonario 10 Aniversario Reserva Rum is matured in Jerez oak barrels and in American Bourbon barrels. From these, he gets the great fruit-sweet-oak flavour, which is tasted from nose to mouth to finish. This premium rum did not mature in the Solera process and is also not a blend of older and younger distillates.

Warm amber in colour, it has an easy and never aggressive nose. Candied oranges, bergamot tea, vanilla and a hint of cola nut are its main aromas. At the palate, it’s lighter and fresher than the older expressions: mainly it tastes of chestnut and acacia honey, candied oranges and citrons and sultana raisins. Slightly hidden, but still evident, are nuts, chocolate, desiccated plums and apricots. Only at the end, a peppery sting from the alcohol becomes just noticeable.
