WINERIES Bocopa was established in 1987, after a long period in which it stressed the need to unite the productions of the wineries to get sufficient volume to allow commercial activity effectively and appropriately to market size. In 1990, Bodegas Bocopa was recognized by the European Union and Association of Agricultural Products (APA).
In order to collectively perform the prevention and fight against harmful agents in the vineyard for wine production, through the use of application techniques, products and plant protection agents, Bodegas Bocopa, in the year 1995, is an Integrated Treatment Group ( ATRIA) that also serves as a link with partners to develop agriculture in the area.
The services performed BODEGAS Bocopa , ranging from technical advice, development, production control, dissemination and promotion, etc.. to bottling of wines and marketing them, having both the elaboration and bottling of the most advanced technology in the wine sector.
It is a society formed by the Bodegas Cooperatives most relevant of the Denomination of Origin, comprising over 60% of the production of wines of Alicante.
Bocopa always been committed to quality and to promote it has prepared special wines that could occupy a prominent place within the intricate world of qualities and brands.
The first was "Marina Alta" is a white wine, semi dry and very fruity, produced with Muscat of Alexandria grape. Has won numerous awards highlighting the gold and silver in Bordeaux, now known worldwide and is the flagship of our fleet of packaging.
