Bodegas Uvaguilera was born from a project long cherished by its creators and a brilliant oenologist named Isaac Fernández Montaña.
Almost 10 years have passed since the birth of the project, and this delay can only be explained by waiting for the necessary conditions to be met to offer a wine of optimum quality.
Located in the very heart of La Ribera, it stands at the foot of 10 hectares of vineyards within the Aguilera mountain and has the most advanced technical systems, but always aimed at producing wines in the most careful and artisanal way in the area.
With a capacity of approximately 100,000 litres of wine, Uvaguilera has a fleet of barrels selected from among the best cooperage firms and the finest wood.
MANJAR DE SILOS
Manjar de Silos is made from a selection of Tempranillo grapes from small vines over 70 years old, located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. It has aged for 25 months in new French Allier and American oak barrels.
This wine has not undergone any filtering or clarification process, in order to respect all its characteristics, so it is possible that sediments may appear in the bottle during the ageing process, which are completely natural.

Manjar de Silos is a dark type of wine with purplish reflections. Presenting in nose with agreeable aromas of fruits in harmony with its time of marinating in the casks. Once in the palate, its great structure of perfect equilibrium can be appreciated amongst a degree of alcohol and acidity that makes it agreeable and very persistent.
