Malvarrosa Tinto is a semisweet red wine produced during the pause n the natural fermentation process.
Our distinguised an cared for production is obtained thanks to blending the experience of craftmanship, treasured for centuaries, and the most advanced modern tecnology. This is what makes the “Virgen Pobre “ Valencian Cooperative Society an emblematic wine producer,well known throughout the region for its top quality wines and liquors (white and red “Mistelas” and Vermouths).
The building itself was constructed in the early sixties and is known locally as the “Bodega” of Jalon. Its original purpose was for storing the equipment that belonged to the first members of the society; presses, wine deposits, wooden oak barrils etc. It was the place where they combined their wisdom and know how as well as their most cared for old wines called “Fondellol”.
As the years have passed the “Bodega” has adapted to new tecnology and from those first wines and “Mistelas” (sweet liquors), which were sold exclusively in bulk,we have passed to the bottling of top quality wines, which you will be able to sample in our establishment.
A semisweet red wine produced during the pause n the natural fermentation process, offering a high fruit aromatic density. Created from the Garnacha (Giró) and Tempranillo grape varieties.
It can be paired with starters including pizzas, pastas, white meat and fresh fish.
