The Macallan Sherry Oak 25 Year Old whisky is part of the Sherry Oak range, which is composed of a number of single malt whiskies matured exclusively in carefully selected oak casks that have previously held sherry from the Sherry Oak region to give them intensity and complexity.
This special single malt provides an intensely pronounced character full of citrus, dried fruit and smoky wood flavours.
This distinctive single malt is matured for 25 years and only in oak casks that have previously held oloroso sherry from Jerez, Spain.
The spirit ages undisturbed in the same casks for a quarter of a century and is transformed to create this luxurious single malt whisky characterised by intense flavours of vanilla, dried fruits and ginger spice with a lingering finish and dark mahogany colour.
