More information Isle of Jura Prophecy 20 CL Whisky
Jura Prophecy Island commemorates the departure of the last Campbell from the Island.
Legend has it that many centuries ago, an old seer prophesied that the last Campbell to leave the island would be brought up. In 1938, the prophecy was fulfilled. To recall this unusual prophecy, the symbol of the seer watches the front of each bottle of Isle of Jura Prophecy.
Isle of Jura Prophecy is perhaps the most potent of the distillery's whiskies. Aged in barrels that have held Bourbon Whiskey, Sherry and Limousin oak barrels, it is bottled unfiltered to lock in all the original potency. Although it has no confirmed ageing, it is made up of rare, old whiskies from the distillery and in the blend there are 20-year-old reserves.
Today Jura Prophecy Island is no longer produced by the distillery so any bottle of this hypnotic product is a gem.
