Holden James presents its characteristic California Zinfandel red wine
The Zinfandel grape is characteristic of California vineyards, and although it is not native, the earliest evidence of the use of this variety dates back to 1850, when it was known as Zinfindal and Zenfendel. There are no records of its European origin, although some studies suggest it may come from Italy or Croatia.
Holden James Zinfandel is produced in Lodi in the Central Valley of California, 90 miles from San Francisco, between Sacramento to the north and Stockton to the south.
It stands out for its aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and currant, and its dry flavor with notes of vanilla.
