More information Hayman's 1850 Reserve Gin Gin
The original company of Hayman Distillers was founded in the 1800’s by James Burrough, the great Grandfather of the current Chairman, Christopher Hayman. James Burrough created the world renowned Beefeater Gin. Although Beefeater Gin and James Burrough Limited were sold to Whitbread in 1987, the Hayman family retained part of the business and continued the tradition of distilling and blending Gin and other white spirits.
Christopher Hayman has over 35 years experience in the drinks trade having joined James Burrough Limited in 1969 and held the position of Operations Director for almost 15 years where he controlled the distillation and production of Beefeater Gin.
A specialist in Gin Christopher is one of the most experienced ‘Gin Masters’.
Hayman's 1850 replicates the style of gin that was served in London's Gin Palaces in 1850. Hayman's took a classic recipe and aged the gin for 3 to 4 weeks in whisky barrels, and the result is delicious .
