More information Grimbergen Tripel 33 CL (24 Units) Beers
Grimbergen Triple is a lager type Ale, high fermentation.
Grimbergen beer originated from a monastery founded by St. Norbert in 1128 in the city from which it takes its name, which is located about 20 km from Brussels, Belgium.
At first this beer was produced and reserved by the monks of the Grimbergen Abbey for the upper class of society.
It is made from barley from Gâtinais and a selection of different hops, from which its fruity taste comes.
The Grimbergen Tripel is a golden strong Ale type beer, with a sweet malt aroma and a taste of malt and hops that is a little sweet and has a good amount of alcohol. The aftertaste is also a little sweet. An amber-coloured, bitter-sweet abbey beer with a full flavour and a persistent aftertaste. Second fermentation in the bottle.
