Grimbergen Dubbel has several malts and double fermentation.
Grimbergen beer originated from a monastery founded by St. Norbert in 1128 in the town from which the Grimbergen itself takes its name, which is located about 20 km from Brussels in Belgium.
At first this beer was produced and reserved by the monks of the Grimbergen Abbey for the upper class of society.
It is made from barley from Gâtinais and a selection of different hops, from which its fruity taste comes.
Grimbergen Dubbel has several malts and double fermentation. It is an abbey beer, burgundy in color and has a total sweet and sour flavor with hints of caramel.
