Gin Siderit Hibiscus or Jamaica flower has been used since inmemorial times to elaborate a drink with multiple medicinal properties in such distant places as Asia, Africa or the Caribbean.
Destilería Siderit S.L. is a micro distillery located in Cantabria (North of Spain), that produces Gin and Vodka Siderit in a traditional way. The Company was born out of the expertise of its founders, Rubén and David, with the aim to produce handcrafted distillates of the highest quality.
This good practice involves using a customized reflux fractional distillation column made entirely of glass. This equipment prevents cross-contamination, intensifies the distillation and enhances the aromas and the purity of the end product. The distillates are produced from the finest raw materials, some of them local, which are perfectly blended by the Master distillers to create a unique set of sophisticated distillates.

Among its botanicalsstands the Syderitis Hissopifolia or rock tea, an endemic to Picos de Europa Mountain’s plant, which gives the Gin its name and makes a unique an unequalled product.

Siderit Hibiscus Gin is a Floral Gin made in Cantabria, northern Spain, distilled from rye alcohol. Its main feature is the floral character arising from a double maceration and a triple distillation in a fractional distillation column with reflux, in a complete glass equipment that eliminates foreign tastes and odors. Every distillation in these equipments of own design is equivalent to five distillations of a traditional alembic.
The Hibiscus Sabdariffa is a magic and exotic plant, native to tropical Africa cherished by the Caribbean due to its edible and aromatic calyx, as well as for its beneficial health properties.
