This rum of noble lineage was born from the very moment the founder Don Juan Brugal Pérez started in 1962 the ageing of cane alcohols.

The idea of founding Vinícola del Norte was conceived by Mr. Juan Brugal Pérez, a great visionary who took the firm purpose of rehabilitating an old company of the Brugal family and start a wine factory.

In the last decade this company has achieved the highest growth ever recorded in the history of the Dominican liquor industry, which has placed it among the first, and all this thanks to the efforts of our main asset, its human resources.
