More information Descomunal Verdejo 2018 Wine
Descomunal is made from a selection of Verdejo grapes, the most noble white variety in Spain.
Its history dates back to 1935, 80 years of history and effort have made Cuatro Rayas the reference winery for Spanish white wines today.
Today, Cuatro Rayas produces almost 20% of the bottled wine of the Rueda Denomination of Origin, making us the largest in the denomination, with an annual production level of some 15 million bottles. The wines, mainly of the Verdejo variety, are leaders in the consumption of white wines in Spain and also have a great influence on foreign markets, being present in more than fifty countries such as Japan, China, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Holland and Mexico.
Descomunal Verdejo is made with a fermentation process in a stainless steel tank, with lees stirring for a minimum of 3 months and a fermentation temperature of 15ºC. Fermentation time is 21 days and a cold maceration: 12 hours 6ºC.
