More information Delampa 50 Years Wine
Delampa 50 years is made from vines more than 50 years old.
Made with Monastrell grapes from unirrigated vines planted more than 50 years ago, Delampa 50 años presents a wine that identifies the winery.
The Monastrell grape is the grape that makes the wines of Jumilla and Alicante famous. In old vines the grape offers its best version, and in this wine from 50 year old vines we find a wine that reminds us of the great wines that have made these designations of origin famous.
The climate in which these valuable vines are kept is continental, influenced by the Mediterranean and the Manchegan plateau. It is sunny and arid, with 3000 hours of sunshine and scarce rainfall, 300 litres, an average annual temperature of 16ºC, cold winters with temperatures below zero and hot summers that reach over 40º.
Produced with manual harvesting, vatted in 10,000 kg tanks, in which fermentation and maceration take place for 15 days at a temperature of 25º, before finally spending 12 months in American oak barrels.
