Herbs Cream Rabo de Gato is the first cream made with herbs from the Sierra de Mariola in Alicante.
Using the traditional method of elaboration of the herbalist of the Sierra de Mariola, this cream liqueur is obtained with a careful selection of aromatic plants native to the north of the province of Alicante.
The mountain ranges of the Valencian Community, such as the valuable Sierra de Mariola, are home to a modest endemic plant,"Rabo de Gato" ( the cat's tail) (Sideritis tragoriganum).
Like other species of the same genus -also common in the Iberian Levant-, it has been used in folk medicine and, especially in veterinary medicine, as a vulnerary herb for wounds and bites.
The cat's tail is a bush of just 40 cm high, grayish, woody, erect stems, with linear leaves and pale yellow flowers, grouped in whorls distant from each other.
