In 2021, the year the brand commemorated its thirty-sixth anniversary, and in the framework of the bicentennial of Costa Rica's Independence, Ron Centenario launched a special collector's edition packaging of the Ron Centenario Añejo 7 bottle for Costa Rica and Europe.
The packaging pays homage to the 7 provinces, and inspires to see how each of the country's regions makes each Costa Rican a unique blend.
Centenario 7 Provincias represents the culture and tradition of the seven provinces of Costa Rica: San José, Heredia, Cartago, Alajuela, Limón, Puntarenas and Guanacaste.
Ron Centenario Añejo 7 is among the best-selling products of the Ron Centenario family and is exported to 32 international markets. It has three silver medals from the prestigious fairs of San Francisco (2019) and Madrid (2012 and 2014) and double gold from the Rum Festival in Orlando, USA (2017).
Its characteristics include a bright and fruity blend of rums aged in American white oak casks, which were first used for highland and lowlands Scotch whisky, with aromas of honey, red apple and wood, as well as a fruity and herbal flavour.
