More information Catto's Whisky
Catto's is one of the oldest family names in the long tradition of Scotch whisky blending.
Its origins can be traced back to 1861 when James Catto established his business in Aberdeen. Captivated by the idea of blending the high quality local Highland malt whiskies which he sold in his store with popular Lowland grain whiskies, Catto immersed himself in measuring, mixing and tasting with the finesse of a master craftsman until he felt certain he had created a superlative blended Scotch. His exacting standards paid off, for when he finally deemed his whisky ready for release it proved an overnight success.
Catto's Blended Scotch Whisky has been enjoyed around the world for more than 150 years. The Rare Old Scottish blend builds on this heritage. True to its roots this classic expression of Catto's owes its aroma and taste to the finest Highland, Speyside and Lowland whiskies combined masterfully to create The Artisan Blend. A truly excellent all round whisky, perfect for every occasion.
