Cévique is an ode to history, assimilation of the name of onte of the first greek colonies in Alicante area, Helike, where the legend says that Carthaginian general Amilcar Barca died, it seems that he drowned in Vinalopo waters, in other time navigable. The assimilation of such a rich history of Alicante area to beer and wine, products given by earth, earth fusing tradition and modernity. Both qualities are what we try to fuse in our products Cévique.

Also known as Russian Imperial Stout. Its origin is in the XVIII century in United Kingdom, is a variant of Stout beer style that features for having more alcohol by volume and a higher concentration of hops. Specifically that kind of beer was brewed to be sended to Russia, to czar’s court, where they appreciated the dark and bitter beers. The higher alcohol was to avoid beer’s freeze in the long trip through the cold Russian weather while the hops served as a preservative.
