The Recovery of a Century-Old Wine
In the 1960s, the centuries-old Ferrero wineries located in the town of "La Cañada" in Alicante closed their doors, storing inside 25 large century-old barrels that remained silent for 60 years.
In 2018, under the guidance of Winemaker David Carbonell and the Ferrero family, "Colección de Toneles Centenarios" was founded, a new name for the traditional winery, with the goal of recovering these historic wines.
