Bahia Brut Nature is a sparkling wine, produced by the traditional method or "champenoise.
Our distinguised an cared for production is obtained thanks to blending the experience of craftmanship, treasured for centuaries, and the most advanced modern tecnology. This is what makes the “Virgen Pobre “ Valencian Cooperative Society an emblematic wine producer,well known throughout the region for its top quality wines and liquors (white and red “Mistelas” and Vermouths).
The building itself was constructed in the early sixties and is known locally as the “Bodega” of Jalon. Its original purpose was for storing the equipment that belonged to the first members of the society; presses, wine deposits, wooden oak barrils etc. It was the place where they combined their wisdom and know how as well as their most cared for old wines called “Fondellol”.
As the years have passed the “Bodega” has adapted to new tecnology and from those first wines and “Mistelas” (sweet liquors), which were sold exclusively in bulk,we have passed to the bottling of top quality wines, which you will be able to sample in our establishment.
Bahia Brut Nature is a sparkling wine, created using the traditional method or "méthode champeonise", from the Muscat grape variety which is typical of the Marina Alta region. With its fine bubbles it is enhanced by its finesse and elegance. You'll be surprised.

Tasting Notes | Appearance: Its appearance is a pale yellow with hints of green and a crown at the top of the glass.
Nose: Very nice on the nose, carbonic and acidic levels well combined and rich in the Muscat grape varieties own smell. Highlights of fruits stand out with notable touches of apple, orange, aniseed and honey as well as citrus fruits with the inkling of tropical fruits, finally a light pastry and yeast fragrance, a superb combination with the own smells of this grape variety.
Palate: Dry with a light acidic first taste, notable swallow and extended flavour. It retro-nasally offers us, an intense fruity flavour. Together it’s well balanced, nice and smooth with refined bubbles. |
