Azpilicueta White creates this Viura grape white wine with the same quality as their red wines.
For the making of this wine, Azpilicueta has used their best Viura plots. They have chosen them for their balance of coolness and maturity, so as to guarantee healthy vines; so that their grapes provide us with an aromatic wine, and just the right level of acidity.
Viura is the most commonly grown white variety in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origen (DOC). It is known in other Spanish wine regions as Macabeo. Grown with loving care, it provides moderate alcohol levels and sufficient acidity, which enable us to make balanced wines, with distinct fruity and floral tones. Perfect wines for drinking young, but also suitable for ageing.
