More information Ardbeg Reserve TEN years (Islay) Whisky
Ardbeg TEN Reserva 10 years is considered worldwide the most turbocharged, smoked and complex single malt whisky of all.
Ardbeg TEN Reserva 10 Years Old is considered the world's most turbocharged, smoked and complex single malt whisky. However, it does not boast about its peat; it gives way to the natural sweetness of the malt to produce a perfectly balanced whisky.
Usually many whiskies are filtered to reduce their alcohol to 40%. Ardbeg Ten, however, is not filtered and has an alcohol content of 46%, maintaining the maximum flavour, while adding body and depth - a whisky where none of its qualities have been extracted!

Tasting Notes | An explosion of crackling peat sets off millions of flavour explosions on the tongue: peat effervesces with tangy lemon and lime juice, black pepper pops with sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. This is followed by a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants. Smoke gradually wells up on the palate bringing a mouthful of warm creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows. As the taste lengthens and deepens, dry espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke develop coating the palate with chewy peat oils. |
