More information Aguardiente Amarillo de Manzanares Sin Azucar Liquor
It was the year 1885 when, in Manzanares, a wonderful town nestled in the mountains of Colombia, the formula for yellow aguardiente was born.
It was based on the use of the finest sugarcane, anise grown on the slopes of Guadalupe Hill, and pure water from the source of the Santo Domingo River. Its colour was yellow, vibrant like the sun, and its taste fresh and aromatic.
A few years later, the liquor industry of Caldas bought this secret formula, safeguarding it carefully so that today it can be enjoyed by everyone.
