1707 Centenario is a delicious wine with an intensive colour and a mild and rounded taste.
With the year 1707, the historic battle for Spain’s monarchy came to an end. In Almansa ended the War of the Spanish Succession in which Philipp V won the decisive victory which proclaimed his coronation. Today, the estates of Hacienda El Espino witnessed this event and we can remeber it by drinking the wine 1707.
Three decades later, Paco Milán from Almansa dedicated togehter with his family time and resources in order to initiate a wine project which he can be very proud of. Since its beginnings in the 90s, the family Milán has been able to unite various small parcels of land with high potential for wine growing and started to build the winery in 2002.
The first harvest of the same season exceded all expectations regarding quality of the wine 1707 as well as its capability to compete on both the national and international market.
Since then, Hacienda El Espino has been growing year after year thanks to investment and effort and today it is a good example for a great winery with excellent wineyards. Nowadays, its wine quality is nationally as well as internationally recognized with prestigious awards of the world of wine.

1707 Centenario
Produced with the grapes Merlot, Tempranillo and Petit Verdot, the wine ages between 8 and 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
Can be served with various meals, such as pizza, pasta, rice or meat.
